My name is Lee Dale and I am a Microsoft Certified Professional specialising in the .Net framework and SharePoint 2007.

I have been a developer now for nearly a decade and started my career developing solutions with Microsoft Access 97 and programming in VBA. I quickly moved onto Visual Basic 6 and developing n-tier applications with VB, COM+ and SQL Server. I have worked for numerous companies in my eight years all of which can been seen in the CV section of this site.

I have been developing in the .Net framework since version 1.0 and nowdays predominately use C# as my main programming language. Although my background has been in desktop Windows applications, the last few years I have mostly been working on web based applications with ASP.Net. I have lately stumbled into the world of SharePoint 2007 and have been working on a few projects for various clients.

In 2006 at the age of 25 I decided to go self employed and started my company A Thousand Threads Ltd which provides consultancy and software solutions based on Microsoft Technologies specialising in the .Net framework and SharePoint 2007.

A little personal info about me, I was born and bred in London England and now live in Essex with my girlfriend. I like boxing and football and support Millwall football club.

I started this blog as a way to share and discuss any knowledge and information I might have gathered along the way in my career.
